What is a Neuropathology Fellowship? The Neuropathology Fellowship is a 2-year ACGME accredited program. The clinical aspect of neuropathology training encompasses tissue-based diagnosis of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems, skeletal muscle, and eye. Additional skills that may be acquired include integration and interpretation of electron microscopy, and molecular pathology relevant to the practice of neuropathology. In addition to clinical education, many fellowship programs advance fellows’ skills as physician-scientists.
